Little Me Boutique in NYC Lord & Taylor

We attended the festive opening of the Little Me boutique in NYC's Lord & Taylor on 5th Avenue. The event was full of fun & lots of activities to keep the little ones busy while their grown ups shopped in the Little Me section! There was music courtesy of DJ Fulano, yummy sweet treats by FabiPops, Storytime with I See Me books, refreshing drinks by Liquetaria, giveaways from Dreft, raffles and best of all exclusive photo opps with the Easter Bunny!
The Little Me shop was filled to the brim with amazingly adorable outfits for any little one in your life. I snapped some pictures of a few of my favorite baby boys Little Me shorts sets as well as a super cute hooded striped cardigan complete with little ears! The Little Me line is fun, fashionable & affordable and makes the perfect shower gift, new baby gift or just because! On March 14, the brand will celebrate the new 650-square-foot space with a family-friendly event sure to entertain both mom and baby alike. From noon-3 p.m., revelers will receive complimentary pictures with the Easter Bunny, springtime story time and gifts from Dreft, Tiny Prints, Fabi-Pops, Liquiteria and I See Me Children’s Books, as well as mommy makeovers from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. RUUM Clothing Store Makes Its Debut in Tribeca

The ultra chic children’s clothing store, RUUM, recently opened their second brick and mortar location in the Tribeca section of New York City. The location is conveniently located at 138 W Broadway amid restaurants, lofts & galleries.
“RUUM American Kid’s Wear celebrates playful kids who are excited about expressing themselves through their clothing choices.” Their selection of clothing shows exactly that with a range of items from custom decorated jeans and hats, to playful shirts to hip and stylish outfits for boys and girls. Build-A-Bear Workshop Fun!

We recently visited Build-A-Bear Workshop with the intention of getting the boys their own Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since they have jumped on the turtle bandwagon. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the store, we were informed that there were no turtles in stock due to their popularity. We were given the option to order them unstuffed online and we could return to the store with them for the Build-a-bear stuffing experience. I love this option for future visits and will definitely be using it as an option in the future. Since we were already in the store we decided that the boys would make a Build-A-Bear buddy for their new sibling, the boys were excited to get started and loved the idea of making their new baby brother/sister a toy!
"A" picked out Pawlette, a floppy eared bunny, for the baby. He chose a sound, Brahms Lullaby, perfect to soothe the baby then chose a heart, made a wish and helped stuff the bunny. After stuffing, he "washed" & "fluffed" the bunny, registered him and named him "Pointy". "T" picked out the Cuddly Pink Teddy for the baby and he chose to personalize his own sound. He recorded his voice saying, "big brother loves you", chose a heart, made a wish and helped stuff the bear.After stuffing, he "washed" & "fluffed" the bear, registered her and named her "Sprinkles". The boys are super excited to present the new baby with their gifts upon his/her arrival and can not wait to return to Build-A-Bear with the baby to shop for accessories! -SD |

Finding my #PerfectFit at Intimacy

Last week I was invited to a fitting at Intimacy (Bra Fit Stylists) hosted by Momtrends. I was familiar with the boutique and had treated myself to some unmentionables after my first son was born...almost 5 years ago! I was super excited to get an updated fitting & consultation plus I was overdue for some new pieces especially since I hadn't purchased any new ones since my last visit to Intimacy.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by super friendly consultants who were knowledgeable, helpful and approachable. I was shown to a private dressing room & given a super silky soft robe to slip in to. I told my consultant my underwear story & explained what I was in the market for: some basics, nursing bras & date night sets, she listened and delivered. She showed me how to properly put on the bras, adjust them as well as what to look for to find my #perfectfit and the difference when wearing a good fitting, well made bra is really priceless and an investment in helping you look & feel good.
I was amazed at the amount of beautiful bras in an array of colors that were available in my size. I couldn't choose just one set and ended up going home with a bra & two matching bottoms but I will be back for more! Intimacy carries over 90 bra sizes ranging from A-K with matching bottoms as well as shapewear, nightwear & swimwear!
